Raleigh’s National Cyclocross Champs Video is pretty inspiring…

If you like cross here’s a great little video from Raleigh that captures the National Cross Champs perfectly.

Raleigh say:

“Awe-inspiring National Cyclocross Championships film goes live. Cold winter morning. You against the pack. Lungs gasping. Full gas. Into the red. Throughout these cold and wet winter weekends Raleigh has rarely been far from a muddy cyclocross course. And with former National Cyclocross Trophy winner Geoff Giddings heading up Marketing and Product Development at Raleigh it’s no surprise that the company has a passion for the sport and now a strong cyclocross product range to boot.

The company has six supported riders on its books this year – including Dylan Kerfoot-Robson, Harry Yates, Nick Barnes, Joe Atkins, Connor Johnstone and Jake Poole – the majority of whom were in action at Derby’s National Cyclocross Championships, held at Moorways Stadium on 11th / 12th January.

This inspiring new film from Raleigh captures all the drama and excitement of cyclocross racing as well as some of the support and back up needed to succeed in the sport. Together with Team Raleigh, the professional arm of Raleigh’s elite racing programme, these supported riders are part of Raleigh UK’s strategy to support UK racing with elite-level products.

The video was produced by Raleigh’s resident cameraman Joe Coales, himself no stranger to fans of cycle racing having been the face behind the lens at Raleigh for five years.

Joe used his trusty Sony EX1 to capture the action. The soundtrack is provided by Sigur Ros’ Brenninsteinn.
