Cycling the Costa Daurada
I dined at the 4 star Les Termes de Montbrio Hotel, which known for its large naturally occurring hydro thermal spa, Turkish sauna, chilled plunge pool and high-salinity float pool.
I also had lunch at Camping Prades Park, with a hearty Catalan stew perfect at the end of a long ride. Camping Prades Park is set in a natural pine forest at 1000 meters altitude so is a cooler residential option in the height of summer.
I visited the Xiringuito Marino beach-front bar in Cambrils, where apart from watching the sunset over the mountains, I can thoroughly recommend the tuna carpacchio and the deep fried baby squid.
