on-Sicily
Of course, it’s not all about riding, and you need to recover properly as well. So after a hard bike ride you can enjoy the excellent Sicilian cuisine and some great Sicilian wine, then retire to on-Sicily’s luxurious accommodation.
Besides being a great, sunny place for cycling, Sicily has a lot to offer. You can visit the many nature reserves, like the Zingaro, Monte Cofano and the Bosco della Ficuzza close to the town of Corleone, the ancient Greek temples and amphitheatres of Segesta, Selinunte, Agrigento and Solunto, and medieval towns like Cefalù and Erice, 750 meters above sea level on Monte Erice. And don’t forget to visit the city of Palermo, the fourth largest city in Italy with many places of interest.
