Wiggle CX Century – Preparing the Body

Preparing the Body is essential with less than eight weeks to the Wiggle CX Century…

 

Covering one hundred miles on a road bike, while not easy is achievable by most club cyclists. If, however those one hundred miles are off road and you’re riding a ‘cross bike rather than an mtb, then it suddenly becomes a ridiculous challenge! It’s time to check up on what state I’m in and what I’m going to need to do get to the finish.

 

While I’m happy to get myself up to the level of fitness required for a road century, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to get some advice from a professional coach.
