Pictures from the new London Olympic Velopark

The London Velopark will open for business on March 31 on the site of the 2012 Olympic Games and also once the site of the much loved Eastway Cycle Circuit.

On March 12 guests were invites to sample the Velopark’s trails, the track and the facilities. The Lee Valley VeloPark is situated at the northern end of Olympic Park with the Velodrome at the centre of a one mile (1.6 km) road course, mountain bike trails, including a skills section and a BMX circuit.

Pictures in our gallery include the velodome, the mountain bike skills area, the BMX course and the road circuit. Sadly work is still underway on the offroad course and was out of bounds to us this day. Page three features the road circuit.
