The Christmas and the New Year Festive season is a great excuse to hold large numbers of top class cyclocross races.

A round of the UCI World Cup featured as well as action from the Superprestige and bpost Bank Trofee series.

The bpost Bank Trofee – Grand Prix Sven Nys held on January 1 2014 had the extra interest of being the first race where riders debute for new teams or on a new brand of bike such as Sven Nys on a Trek!
