Mike Cotty’s Les Alpes
Back in August 2013, Mike Cotty had the idea to ride the length of the Alps non-stop from Évian-les-Bains to Nice – a bit more ambitious than riding to the Cotswolds and back – and got some of his cycling industry clients to support him. Mike, who is a Mavic ambassador, undertook a non-stop journey of 677km with 17 mountains, including the Col de la Madeleine, the Col du Glandon and Col du Galibier (by night!), a total of over 16,000 metres of climbing! It took him 33 hours and 39 minutes of which he was actually riding for 32 hours and 24 minutes. Epic indeed. Here’s the video story of Mike’s ride…
