bpost Bank Trofee 4, C1 – December 21
The fourth round of the bpost Bank Trofee is the GP Rouwmoer held at Essen, Belgium.
The 2012/13 race finished with a sprint that saw an apologetic Zdenek Stybar switch Jan Denuwelaere into the barriers. Afterward the judges awarded Denuwelaere the win and demoted Stybar back to 4th. Stybar returns to make one of a few starts this season.

World Cup 4 – Namur – December 22
Round 4 of the UCI World Cup CycloCross is held on a brutal course played in the beneath the walls of the infamous Namur Citadel in Belgium.
Nikki Harris in the Namur mud 2012/13 by Balant Hamvas – buy his 2012/13 Cross Annual
This is a hard course, look out for the off camber sections where only the really hard ride all the way. Last season there were wins for Kevin Pauwels and Katie Compton. If it rains… well, ‘may the Lord have mercy on their souls’. It snowed for the women’s race last time.
