MTB Demo Weekend

Leisure Lakes Bikes Announces Gisburn’s Biggest MTB Demo Weekend in Ribblesdale Park

Leisure Lakes Bikes has announced the Gisburn MTB Demo Weekend, taking place on 25th and 26th of May at Gisburn Forest. This two-day event will offer riders the chance to test-ride the latest MTBs and E-MTBs, all in the surroundings of Gisburn Forest.

Leisure Lakes Bikes is one of the UK’s largest independent mountain bike retailers. The Gisburn MTB Demo Weekend is the chance for enthusiasts to test the latest models. Riders of all abilities can experience riding on a range of terrains and having a fun and informative day in the Ribble Valley.

Following the success of previous events such as their Cannock Chase Demo Weekend, Leisure Lakes Bikes brings the same unbeatable experience to Gisburn. Ben Mercer, Marketing and Events Manager of Leisure Lakes Bikes, has expressed his excitement about this event:

“The North West is one of the best spots in the UK for mountain biking trails; and we can’t wait to bring the world’s best mountain bikes & e-MTBs for riders of all skill levels to test out back-to-back at Gisburn Forest. Leisure Lakes Bikes staff will be there to answer all questions attendees may have and offer personalised recommendations to help you find the perfect bike.

Tickets will cost £40 per day, and Ben has expressed the importance of booking early: “Our previous demo weekends have been super popular with mountain bikers around the UK. They’ve been in high demand and are likely to go quickly, so guarantee your chance to test the latest mountain and electric bikes from all the top brands.”

Raising money for charity

Plus, a portion of each ticket sale will be donated to the North West Air Ambulance and the Forestry Commission, with Ben explaining his passion for charity work: “Giving back to those in need has always been important to LLB and our mission, which is why 50% of the deposit fee for previous demo weekends has gone to charity, so you can be sure that when you’re booking, you’re also helping a good cause.”

Participants of all ages are welcome but must be over the age of 16 to demo an adult bike. Valid photo ID in the form of a Passport or Driving License must be provided, as well as your own helmet. While not a necessity, bringing personal pedals offers a more realistic and comfortable experience while trialling the bike.
