Hallowillen!

Fancy some spooky cyclo-cross action? Take a look at the CCXL’s Hallowillen event.

Hallowillen is a charity event being run by the Central Cyclocross League for the Willen Hospice over Halloween. CCXL wants you, your family and friends of all ages to help them raise money for Willen Hospice. Below is CCXL’s appeal for entries to this fun event.

Mark Booth would love you to be part of our Hallowillen cyclocross event with an emphasis on bringing people together to have fun, celebrate life and enjoy cycling and playing your way round the purpose-built crazy course with your bike in tow, all while raising funds for Willen Hospice. No experience necessary, first-timers especially encouraged (with any bike you can ride on grass)!

Features include: fancy dress, raffle, up-lifting aerobic warm-up, start-line fun, big cheering on for all and CX course special stations such as disco gazebo (stay and dance/sing as long as you like!), optional run challenge section, Halloween gazebo and more… Prizes galore will include: best costume, best-dressed bike, best singer, best dancer, race winners, best non-winners and a prize for all child participants, plus prizes for surprise challenges.

All welcome, open for entries now! Adults can enter one or both waves, and entering the fun wave as a relay team is an option! Spectators most welcome too! Simply enter one round to register and then contact CCXL if you wish to enter the second. Or if you are feeling generous enter both, all the money raised goes to Willen Hospice.
