With the road season fast approaching, the PMR@ToachimHouse women’s team got together for a recent training day…`

On the day the team were grateful to have Digi Dave Hayward along for the ride to take some fabulous photographs & video the ride. Riding pillion, he was able to provide a great record of the
day and also footage for DS Graham Hills to analyse the riders pedalling technique/cadence/body position afterwards.
 
Through & off in the local Kent countryside
 
Graham is not only an experienced road racer and qualified coach, but also an advanced motorbike rider, NEG rider & Commissaire. This keeps the riders on their toes as they never know which hat he will be wearing at any given moment!
 

The team were put through their paces over a hilly 50 mile route & asked to do various drills, which caused quite a stir in the local villages. More sessions along the same lines are planned for the near future.
 
A group of 8 women in identical kit riding in formation is not an everyday sight.
 

On the spot coaching advice to individual riders on hill reps.
