As mentioned, on-Sicily also organise cycling events and their next event is the Giro dello Scorpione, a week-long series of rides for cyclists who wear Castelli cycling clothing. The Giro will be held from 31st May until 7th June 2014.

The Giro dello Scorpione is not a race, but a fun event where fans of Castelli kit can meet other aficionados and enjoy some quality time on the bike together. As well as cycling in a lovely, hilly area with spectacular sea views, you will be able to visit several beautiful places of interest and of course, you can always enjoy some of that excellent Sicilian cuisine!

As so many cyclists like to bring their, often non-cycling, partner along to the event, on-Sicily have chosen a beautiful location with swimming pool as their event base camp, called the Borgo delle Olive, a characteristic Sicilian building with several luxury apartments.

So if you love cycling and you own Castelli kit, like to meet new people and make new friends, and you always wanted to visit “la bella Sicilia”, then the Giro dello Scorpione is the event for you.
