To keep everyone fit and to encourage new riders to cyclocross, VC Deal are holding a cyclocross race on Sunday 19th January 2014 at Fowlmead Country Park, Sholden, Kent CT14 0BF.
This will be hard enough for regular racers to stay sharp, but accessible for all those who have never raced before.
Cyclocross is: Off road cycle racing on a closed circuit. Less steep and wider than some MTB courses, ideal for developing skills and fitness.
There is a gap in the cyclocross programme due to the move of the London League Wilmington round to February 2nd.
– 1st timers are welcome – you don’t need a licence.
– Mountain bikes are welcome – there are no restrictions on bikes.
– All clubs are welcome – you don’t even need to be in a club.
– You need a working off road bike and a legal helmet, thats it!

12:00 Under 12s – Go-Race – £1
12:30 “Youth” (12-16s) – £5
13:15 Women/Vets (over 40) and Juniors (under 18s) – £14
14:30 Seniors (18-39s) – £14
